Meet, erm, 'promo gal'. (She doesn't have a name yet). She's our latest mannequin for the shop...it looks like she's in the middle of nowhere but in fact she's out the front of the shop, right at the side of the road.
Sue set her up so that she looks like she's trying to hitch a lift, I think she looks perfectly hilarious!
I think she's trying to grab a lift to this event, a rockabilly festival which is being held this weekend just down the road from our shop. There's all sorts of bands playing day and night, a ball, a movie marathon, an art exhibition, a car show, a soap box derby...AND A SHOPPING TOUR!!

Yes folks, a vintage shopping tour and high tea.
Hosted by the inimitable Miss Chrissy of the Lindy Charm School for Girls, (do click on the link and read about them if you have a minute, they do amazing stuff), 24 girls will be landing on our shop doorstep at exactly 11.40am for 45 minutes of mad mayhem shopping. Our shop is big but not that big...we're also the only shop on the Mountain with vintage clothing so we're expecting some craziness!
Of course I'm getting frocked up for the occasion, here's hoping I get some pics for you.

Then I would have to put "LOST MANNEQUIN" flyers all over and everyone would just think it was a joke..... but it would not be. ;p
