1940s Housedress

The jury's still out on this 40s cotton housedress...

It's easy-fitting and comfortable and super-soft, but I might be the only one who likes it.

I'm not bad with the faux bangs now, I'll improve on the victory rolls next...

This was my 'shopgirl outfit' today, we had the lovely ladies on Miss Chrissys vintage shopping tour visit so of course I had to dress appropriately.

It was such a thrill to see quite a few girls wearing things they'd bought from me in the past, I love seeing my (ex) stock being worn and how people style things.

And look who was participating in the shopping tour, only Super Kawaii Mama, visiting from Melbourne for the Gasoline & Garterbelts Festival on the Mountain this weekend. Such a lovely lady (the hair! the skin!) and she's nice too!

I love love it but I think it would look fab with a lace up shoe or inclosed shoe rather than open. I love your hair!! xxx Katherine

Love the faux fringe!! I wish I could pull that off cuz my bangs are a real hassle! I have to cut them almost once a week! And I love the dress but it's really how it makes you feel, if you feel amazing I'd say keep it!!
