Fresh Finds & New Faves....Beautiful Bakelite

Waist-deep in preparations for our shop opening in February, I thought I'd show you just some of the beautiful bakelite we'll have for sale.

Early 1930s figural catalin napkin ring set.

1930s/40s watch case, ideal to house the gift of a vintage watch or bracelet.

Beautiful deco lines on this black vanity box. I whipped these few photos off for you while I was sorting and packing this stuff, so apologies for the awful reflection!

Weeny little manicure set, the colours of the case sold me.

Classic in both shape and colour, this Art Deco butter dish was one that I was overjoyed to find.

1940s coffee canister, I think Sue might have the matching 'tea' one, then we'll have the set!

Dear Kitty, what great pieces! I love the colour of the manicure set box too. Vix made me laugh with the bacon comment. The black vanity box and butter dish are gorgeous. Thank you for your lovely comments, much as The Actor would love to I don't think I could do Christmas in the sun, it just wouldn't be the same xx
