I see lots of repros around, lots of 'vintage-style' bits and pieces, but the real thing seems quite hard to find.
I haven't been able to offer any 50s/60s hairclips for sale for over 18 months now, so I was well pleased to snap this lot up.
Bows and flowers always seem to dominate. They must have been popular at the time!
The only question now is, which ones will I keep?
Continuing with the hair theme, I'll be announcing a major hairstyling challenge soon. Joy! Open to any bloggers who wish to participate, it'll be a real challenge, so girls here's your warning, start letting you hair get dirty NOW!!!

Those are adorable, and I see these exact designs made as reproductions right in my local stores. I know they are from vintage designs, because I wore them as a wee 1950's Atomic Ranch House girl lol...
I wore them up until a few years ago, I think they are sweet! Great find!
They are rather sweet. I've never seen anything quite like those beauties before. The yellow birds are stealing my heart, love them! xxx
I have the bottom bows on the right in the bottom picture in yellow. And I adore them I wear one in my hair quite alot. I found a small bag at a second hand store for $1.50.
I love the ones you bought they are all so sweet!
Wow,that's a big haul!
I do have a hair thingy that G's Mum gave me,that I think is quite old. I'll photograph it and post it.
