I whipped this stock dress off the rack in the stockroom today to see what I could do with it. At first I was going to do something with red accessories, but, well, I'd rather do something less obvious.
And really, a dress like this has so many possibilities! Much as I love loud prints and colours, sometimes it's nice to go for a more classic look.
Can you guess how old it is?? I can't show you the back as I had to pin it, but it has a long zip so no hidden giveaways there.

I remember in the 80's there was a '40's revival...I'm wondering if the dress isn't from that era? Whatever, it looks fab on you! Black is the classiest in my book!

I was going to say late 1970's, a la Studio 54 era but the bodice looks like it's a bit more detailed so I'm going to say early 1950's. Do share!
