New Kid On The Block

She's here! And she's up!!!

Our new mascot; a life-size, solid concrete Marilyn Monroe, out the front to greet you as you stroll up to the shop.

Regular visitors will have seen her 'tastefully' occy-strapped to the post behind the arbour for the last few weeks while we waited (impatiently) for her platform to be built. Don't ask me how many burly chaps it took to get her up there...I don't want to know!

She'll have some paintwork done soon, we can't let the legend look straggly and sans make-up for too long now can we?

Just checking!!!

There's a house we pass on the way to the car boot sale with a Marilyn and an Elvis on his gateposts, the traffic always slows down to gawp.
Love that purple frock on you!
