New in the Shop This Week

Such a huge amount of new stock in the shop this week!
So much that I can't show you it all, I've picked out a few favourites that you might enjoy looking at too.

And look what Dolly picked out for herself! A stunning 1940s two-piece silk suit and matching ruched satin topper.

I've lightened the pics to show details, I love the thinestone faux buttons and how perfect is the pearl necklace with it?

Lots more kitsch too, including several sets of bird figurines and vases.

A whole lot of clowns

Here's the kitsch shelves, this is only halfway through stocking them up so there's lots more than this on here now. Safe to say if you're after an animal figurine or vase, there's a good chance we have it!

A whole host of feminine dressing table trinket pots and vanity items

Another small motherlode of costume jewellery
...including five of these 'miracle' brooch pendants, one in every colour (all from one lady, she must have really liked this style).

heart-shaped patent leather-look handbag, not very old but so cute I had to buy it. Every time I look at this I can't stop thinking how well it'd match Sarahs red heart-shaped sunnies.

And look out the front now-very different to before!

You'd be forgiven for thinking we're suddenly into the white/shabby thing...no, our focus hasn't changed, but sometimes you have to go with whatever stock falls into your lap (i.e., comes as part of a bulk buy).

Three different plaster-framed mirrors, I love the weight these have

Old fishing creel, great to create a rustic look and always popular with the boys

50s anodised planter, well, you can never have too many of these I say!

I'm happy with the bookcase, I like that the grain of the timber came through and it's handy piece of shelving for the moment too!

Wow everything looks wonderful!

I wouldn't worry about the "shabby chic" look. Antique stores looked that way long before whatshername turned it into a big business.

And if you were going for shabby chic, you'd have to have a lot more chippy white stuff and silk flowers and angels lol.

Everything looks so wonderful--you have done such a great job with the shop. Of course I want all the kitschy stuff but I just can't justify paying the shipping costs dammit. Wonder if I can talk hubby into a trip to down under--he's already been there, but once is never enough. The fabulous hat is my fav of everything!!!!

Miracle jewellery made 5 miles up the road from me, it's still going strong even now. I find lots of it at car boots, rather lovely isn't it?
I'm eyeing up your enamel bucket, that would brilliant for storing my ironing. x

Hey Kitty!

I know this is going to be a long shot but do you happen to know or remember if that heart shaped bag had a brand? I've seen a black one on someones blog and I really must track one down for myself! They're gorgeous! xxx
