Fresh Finds & New Faves

A quick post with some of this weeks buys.

As usual I'm just starting my blog post at 10pm and I've been up since 4am, so I'm light on the text this time.

Pair of mid-century teak recliners. I wasn't sure about the fabric at first but now it's really growing on me.

Great shape to the arms. I need to do some work on the frames but they'll come up beautifully.

Comfortable to sit in, and they recline way back.

Bone-handled cutlery set, these are great sellers but too bad, they're keepers this time.

Freestanding rococo style picture frame.

Great score on 3 pairs of sunnies, top pair are genuine Burberry with original case and the pair in the middle are genuine Gucci with original case.

50s red leather bag, nothing special really but I have a major red bag thing at the moment.

So of course I had to snap this red beauty case up as well :)

Love the quilted vinyl interior too!

And this, (terrible thing to photograph because I haven't steamed it yet, but lovely), genuine 50s burlesque petticoat from the estate of a famous pin-up girl.

Don't ya just love the plastic flowers sewn into the waistband!

I actually love the fabric on those chairs, glad you've come around to it. Would love a bone handled set myself too, they feel so comfortable to hold.

I have a "thing" for furniture, love the chairs!

Funny thing: try finding plastic flowers on places like eBay, in any size "lot". You can't! They used to be sooooooo common, but I guess people didn't keep them?

Kitty - As you know, I just posted about my obsession with buying coats. Well, I think vintage chairs are an even bigger obsession. And I would just die to have your teak reclining chairs! Everything about them is perfect. What a great find!

Love your red quilted beauty case too. Anything in red is worth snatching up!
