Vintage Giveaway! Name My Mannequin

 

Dear readers, I need a name for my mannequin! 
I've had her for a few months but I just can't think of a name, so I need your help.

 

She's definitely a vintage girl, and by the look of her, she's sported many an outfit.
Soon she'll be going to the shop, so we need a name for her.


I'm giving away this gorgeous blue 50s hat and two black vintage beaded purses to the person who comes up with the name I deem most suitable.


Open to Australian and overseas readers, you must be a follower and you're welcome to suggest more than one name.

    I haven't thought of a clever name but when I saw it I thought Dotty, straight away, freaky but true!! As I say not trying to inventive, that name just popped in my head :o)

    She looks like a Genevieve to me
    The name is of Germanic origin and has the meaning "woman of the people"

    I think she looks rather elegant so I'm going for Euphemia, which according to my 1918 "Christian Name" book is a Greek-derived name meaning "Fair Fame". xxx

    Dear Kitty, the first name that popped into my head was Gloria! When I bought mine the same name came up. I ended up calling her Tallulah.

    Thanks for asking about the health kick. I've managed to juice every day and eat pretty well but that is it. I haven't even plugged the Wii Fit in! I shall have to make more effort this week. I've had a big weekend so all I can think about is eating today. I must go to the supermarket. Hope you have a great week xx

    I like "Lillian" for the class, but I like "Helen" -- since the mannequin is, after all, deaf dumb and blind -- for the black humor.

    Mine is also going to be a little dark. I'm thinking "Helena" after that really horrible 90's movie "Boxing Helena" where the guy was so obsessed with a woman that he amputated her limbs so that she couldn't leave him.
