Vintage Costume Jewellery Motherlode



While you'll often hear me saying that my job isn't really glamorous...well I have to admit, sometimes it is a bit!

Today I picked up a small treasure chest full of 50s and 60s costume jewellery from a local deceased estate, nearly 100 items in total.

Yes, quite a few 'oohs' and 'aahs' of delight could probably have been heard by my neighbours, such was my glee!

Below, a few quick 'Ta-Dah' snaps as I was pricing and cleaning it all, the yellow glass figural shells necklace *so* made me think of Helga, I can totally see her in this one!

So many beads that I don't know where we'll put them all, but they'll all be instore later this week.

    That copper pendant makes me weak at the knees, you can't possibly sell that beauty!!! What a haul! Those yellow beads are totally Helga-tastic! I bet the lady they once belonged to was such a glamour-puss in her time! xxx

    Wow, what a haul - these look amazing. I think I like the pale pink necklace in the last photo the best though. Aren't you tempted to keep any? I know I would be!

    Oooooooh Christmas! My littlest boy would have loved decorating himself in this lot as a toddler. He may be growing out of it. I haven't.
