Vintage Costume Jewellery Motherlode

While you'll often hear me saying that my job isn't really glamorous...well I have to admit, sometimes it is a bit!

Today I picked up a small treasure chest full of 50s and 60s costume jewellery from a local deceased estate, nearly 100 items in total.

Yes, quite a few 'oohs' and 'aahs' of delight could probably have been heard by my neighbours, such was my glee!

Below, a few quick 'Ta-Dah' snaps as I was pricing and cleaning it all, the yellow glass figural shells necklace *so* made me think of Helga, I can totally see her in this one!

Enormous Italian micromosaic brooch

Limoges hand painted porcelain brooch

Mother of pearl brooch

No prizes for guessing who will like this beaten copper pendant

So many beads that I don't know where we'll put them all, but they'll all be instore later this week.

Linking up with Lakota's Ta-Dah Tuesday.

  5. Wow, what a haul - these look amazing. I think I like the pale pink necklace in the last photo the best though. Aren't you tempted to keep any? I know I would be!
