Frock on Friday




Makeup? Wine? A smile and a big hat?? What's going on here?

Wait, it's FROCK ON FRIDAY!!





I've been wanting to show you this gorgeous 40s dress for a little while now, I love the unusual fabric. And my big hat! I so love big 40s hats, don't you? I have yet to wear them outside the house (yes, the dress will certainly need a slip!), but when an occasion presents itself I have the outfit ready.



 


Sue gave me these shoes yesterday and they go so well, for all the shoes I have I was lacking a basic black pair to wear with my older vintage dresses.

Now to respond to a couple of comments- ZSM, you can find my pie recipe here. Desiree, yes, cashmere cardis, 50s with dangling cherries, and 60s black angora with gold beading...I'll be showing them next week :)

    sorry I haven't got around to commenting for ages :( I saw this last week & thought 'YOWZA! Kitty you look like a bona fide movie starlet'.
    This outfit really is the bees-knees!
    I've been busy running around in circles this week, still haven't got my act together with my new etsy listings yet, I may have to throw in an all-nighter just to get things rollin'.
